department of Fashion Designing organized a two-day workshop on “Different
techniques of Knitting and Crochet”. The Resource person was Mrs. Jyoti Miglani,
Art and Craft Expert from Jammu University. In this workshop students of B.Voc
III Semester and B.Sc. IIIrd semester got knowledge about various techniques of
knitting and crochet on needles and they made different articles like sweaters,
knitted dresses, mufflers, gloves, caps, socks, baby suits, table mats, Thaal
Covers, Mirror Covers, Mobile Covers etc. Madam Principal, Dr. Kiran Arora
appreciated the efforts made by Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, Head of the department and
other staff members to have organized this skill oriented workshop.
