Department of Computer and Information Technology organized a UGC Sponsored National Seminar on the topic ‘Web Effusion – An Upsurge in Web Designing and Development’ – Prof. (Dr.) Sharanjit Singh Dhillon (Former Registrar, Guru Nanak Dev University, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar) was the Chief Guest and Prof, (Dr.) Gurwinder Singh (Guru Nanak Dev University) was the Keynote Speaker of the day. The inaugural session began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Sh. Vinod Dada Ji, Joint Secretary of the Managing Committee and Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora. Mrs. Shivani Sharma, Head, PG Department of Computer Science and IT delivered an introductory note about the seminar. Dr. Gurvinder Singh threw considerable light on ‘Web Effusion’, judicious use of technology and the upcoming trends in Web Development. Dr. Sharanjeet Singh Dhillon illumined us as to how the burgeoning influence of technology is expeditious in moulding the future of the young. Prof.(Dr.) Lalitsen Sharma, Head of PG Department of Computer Science and IT, Jammu University, Dr. Meenu Khurana, Dean, Department of CSE, Chitkara University, Chandigarh, Dr. Ramandeep Khosa, Associate Professor and Assistant Dean, Division of Research and Development, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara and Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Associate Professor and Head, Department of IT, DAVIET, Jalandhar were welcomed in the Technical session. ‘Proceedings of the UGC – sponsored National Seminar – Web Designing ‘ Journal was also released on the day. The guests were bestowed with mementos of gratitude by Sh. Vinod Dada Ji and Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora. The stage was held by Mrs. Shikha Puri.
