Associate
Professor of Hindi Department of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar was
honoured with ‘Swargiya Jagdev Singh Shant Samriti Hindi Sahitya Sevi Samman Award. She was also bestowed with Rs. 5000/-, a memento and a letter of
honour. An international hindi conference was organised by ‘International Kalan
Manch, Muradabad in Austria. Educationists, Principals and Literary figures
across the world presented their research papers. The event was chaired by Dr.
Babu Lal Sharma, Editor ‘Vaichariki’. Dr. Ravinder Bharti was the Guest of
Honour. The conference was held in the auditorium of Salzburg, Austria. The
purpose of the conference was to revitalize and refurbish Hindi language, which
is on the verge of loosing its relevance.
Dr. Suntia Sharma maintained that Hindi
language has indeed been exponentially promoted at an international realm. It
is evident from the fact that even the hotel staff of Austria were well
articulated in Hindi. It is a matter of esteemed pride that three of her academic books were also released on
the day. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora applauded Dr. Sunita Sharma for her
exemplary achievement.
