Punjabi Department of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar held a webinar on the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The theme of the webinar was "Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's Contribution to Society and Civilization". The Chief Guest of the Webinar was Dr. Karamjit Singh Ji, Former Professor and Head, Department of Punjabi, Kurukshetra University. Dr. Karamjit Ji referred that Guru Ji has shown us the path of true, pious and contented life. He opposed pilgrimages, fasting and yogis etc. Dr. Karamjit also emphasized that it is very important to know the history of Bani as well as to read it. Life should be changed accordingly by understanding their meaning. Different teachers and students participated in the webinar and enhanced their knowledge by listening to the views expressed by Dr. Karamjit Singh. He satisfied everyone by answering the questions. Assistant Professor Ms. Sakshi imparted technical assistance. Head of Punjabi Department Dr. Surinder Kaur thanked everyone and Dean, Youth Club Dr. Harkamal Kaur and Mrs. Ritu Gill also played an important role in organizing this webinar.
