Department of Fashion Designing organized a workshop on ‘Practical Approach’ in
Designing. The resource person for the workshop was Ms. Jyoti Kapoor, fashion
designer and a fashion entrepreneur from ‘R-Destination’ (Jalandhar City). She
shared her valuable thoughts about girl empowerment and also encouraged
students to be more creative and imaginative. She guided students, how to use
principles and elements of designs in costumes to become a successful designer
which is a current need in fashion industries. Madam, Principal Dr. Mrs. Kiran
Arora appreciated the efforts done by Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, head of the department
and other faculty members.
