Department of Home Science of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar organizes Nutritional Awareness Week

Home Science Association celebrates ‘Nutritional Awareness Week’. Inter Class Nutritional Awareness Quiz, Talk on Yoga and Diet – Yog Guru Shwetank Anand, Poster Making Competition on Nutritional Awareness, Talk on Awareness of Nutritional Foods, Cooking Competition and a lecture on Yog Mudras for good health were the activities which were conducted. Simran of BA Semester III got first prize, Chahat of BA Semester-I stood second, Araish of B.A. Semester –V was third and Mamta Sharma of BA Semester –I received a consolation prize. In the Cooking Competition (desserts), Mamta of BA Semester-V bagged first position, Arshpreet Kaur of B.A.B.Ed Semester-I made it to the second position, Ruchika of B.Com SemesterI and Rajni of BA Semester –V got third prize. Kanchan of BA Semester-V got a consolation prize and Jatinder of Ba Semester –V received a special prize. Mehak of BA Semester-I got first prize. Ashima of BA Semester I stood second, Anjali of B.Com Financial Services Semester-I was third and Ishneet of B.A. Semester-I received a consolation prize. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Kiran Arora lauded the endeavours of the students and the department for making the activity a success.
