Department of English of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar holds Guest Lecture entitled ‘Value Education through Self Exploration’

Department of English held a Guest Lecture on the topic ‘Value Education through Self Exploration’. Mrs. Kanika Chopra and Mr. Kanwal Khehra, Assistant Professors of Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering, Jalandhar were the speakers of the day. Through their lecture, they underscored the relevance of Value Education as to how it serves as a prerequisite to comprehensive education. He averred that one should thrive towards excellence by not yielding even in the face of adversity, to extinguish the spark of fear with the fire of courage and to channelize the inner potential in the right direction. They also insisted on managing one’s time well and how it is essentially courtesy which reaps healthy communion. It proved a fruitful discourse in illumining the students on several notions.
