Felicitations was held in our college wherein
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma (IAS) was the Chief Guest. President
of the Managing Committee, Purushottam Lal Budhia Ji, Joint Secretary Vinod
Dada Ji, Mr. Rakesh Dada, Member of the Managing Committee, Mrs. Chander Mohini
Markanda, Advisor DSSD Education Board, Mr. Kamal Kumar Budhia, Member of the
Managing Committee, Mr. D.K. Joshi, Member, Managing Committee, Dr. T.N. Lama,
Member, Managing Committee, Principal, Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora, Incharge of the
programme, Mrs. Tripta Handa, College Head Girl, Kritika and President of the
Youth Club, Manmeet kaur extended a floral welcome to the Chief Guest. A
ceremonial lamp was also lit to commence the event. The Principal addressed the
Chief Guest with words of warmth and cordiality. Students of the Dance
department performed ‘Ganesh Vandana’ after which Mrs. Tripta Handa and Mrs.
Renu Tandon began the programme. About 184 students were bestowed with shields.
The Chief Guest lauded the students for their endeavours and encouraged them to
keep on striving towards success. Also, he averred that students should be as
determined and focused as Arjuna to realize their goals. It is in fact student
life where they should invest their utmost potentials into making tomorrow an
accomplished reality. Kamalpreet concluded the day with a folk song. The
newsletter of the college ‘Sunshine’ was also released. The Chief Guest
received a memento as a token of gratitude by Purushottam lal Budhia Ji,
Principal and Mrs. Tripta Handa. Stage was held was Mrs. Divya Budhia Gupta.
