The Investiture
Ceremony of PCM SD College for Women for the academic year 2019-20 was held
with great pomp and dignity in collaboration with youth club. The dignified
ceremony commenced with the floral welcome of the Chief Guest, Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran
Arora by Mrs. Priya Mahajan, Dean, Central Association, Mrs. Kawaljit Kaur,
Deputy Dean, Central Association, Dr.(Mrs.) Harkamal kaur, Dean Youth Club and
Mrs. Neena Mittal, Deputy Dean, Youth Club. The elected leaders were conferred
with badges by the honourable Chief Guest Dr. Kiran Arora. The oath taking
ceremony was conducted by Mrs. Sakshi Khanna where the
students pledged to hold the college motto of loyalty, truth and
Honour in high esteem. The Chief Guest congratulated them and
admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She
also exhorted them to uphold the values. Kritika Maggo was elected as the Head
Girl of Post Graduate courses and Palak was made the Head Girl of Under
Graduate courses. Baby Kumari Jha was made the Head Girl of the IT Block.
Manmeet was adjudged as the President of the youth club. Also additional four
office bearers of the Central Association, four office-bearers of the youth
club and seventeen discipline incharges were conferred with badges. The event
concluded with National Anthem.
