‘Teej
Festival’ was organized by Department of Punjabi with cultural and artistic joviality.
Students participated with utmost vigour and zeal. Reverent Principal Dr. Kiran
Arora was the Chief Guest, who received a cordial welcome in the hands of Mrs.
Surinder Narula, Head of the Department. She emphasized the relevance of
daughters in the family as prized jewels. Participants captivated the audience
with traditional folk songs, bhangra and giddah. They were dressed in
resplendent attires. Mehndi stalls were put up on the occasion by Department of
Cosmetology. Principal acknowledged the efforts of the department in
reminiscing our rich cultural roots. Modelling was also organized and winners
were bestowed with prizes. Vishali was given the title of ‘Teeyan di Rani’,
Shivani was chosen as ‘Gutt Nagni’ and Manmeet Kaur was selected as ‘Kad Sarun’.
