Summer camp is being organised by PCM S.D. Collegiate Sr. Sec.
School for Girls Jalandhar from 1st June to 8th June. Principal Dr. Kiran Arora and Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma incharge inaugurated the camp. On
the first day of the camp, Head of the Dance deptt. Dr.Sugandhi Bhandari
and Miss.Reena Assis.Prof.taught the basics of Bhangra, Sammi and
Hip-hop steps to the students. Students were thrilled to learn the
basics of "Sammi Dance" and Bhangra as they are traditional dances of
Punjab. Students performed at various beats of Bhangra and Sammi. They
were very enthusiastic to perform and learn various forms of Indian Folk
Dances.
