International Yoga Day was celebrated in PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar by the Dept of Cosmetology. Yog Guru Mr. Shwetank Anand made the students aware of the importance of Yoga & Meditation in daily life. He acknowledged the students that it will them to improve the Concentration and focus in the studies. Yoga and meditation can have many surprising impacts on both mental and physical health. Practicing Yoga improves balance, endurance, flexibility, and strength, while meditation helps to keep the mind sharp, relieves stress and anxiety, and can strengthen the immune system. Students took keen interest in this valuable session by doing various yoga Aasnas. Principal Dr. Kiran Arora motivated the students to make Yoga as part and parcel of their daily routine. Mrs. Sushma Sharma, Co-ordinator of Beauty and Body Fitness Course, Mrs. Daljit Kaur, Head, Dept of Cosmetology, Mrs. Tripta Handa, Ms. Apeksha Bajaj, Mrs. Parmjit and other faculty members also participated in this occasion.
