College for Women, Jalandhar has become yet another bromide which can be
buttressed by latest rankings currently unveiled. The ascendency of the college
over other institutions can be ascribed to the fact that the college surpassed
all of them in terms of competency of faculty, thus achieving Ist position
thereof. It has also secured 5th position and 14th position among all women
colleges and national colleges of India. College has secured 3rd rank among
state colleges, 7th rank among national women colleges and 36th rank among all
national colleges, achieving 509 score out of 700. Among all colleges of the
state, women national colleges and national colleges, PCM S.D. College has
secured 3rd, 14th and 22nd position in terms of faculty development and
welfare. It has also secured 3rd, 10th, 20th in terms of curriculum
development; 3rd, 9th and 15th in placement; 3rd, 9th and 19th in
leadership quality. In terms of infrastructure, college has bagged 5th, 10th
and 18th position. Principal, Dr. Kiran Arora lauded the punctilious and
scruplous efforts by faculty members and consistent brazing hard work of
students in achieving this milestone and encouraged them for perennial march
towards success.
